The mission of the St. Thomas University School of Law Moot Court Board is to foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and healthy competition where we challenge one another to become better researchers, writers, and oral advocates. Our mantra is “Achieving Greatness” because we strive for excellence.
Once a member, students will hone their written and oral advocacy skills through the class component taught by Faculty Advisor, Professor Howard Blumberg. Upon completion, members may submit a letter of intent to participate in regional and national competitions.
“It is my desire that each person in this organization will be pushed and given the opportunity to shine to their maximum capabilities. Meaning that every person . . . is given a fair opportunity to compete in competitions and is provided with all the tools they need to succeed.”
Eneami Bestman, 2014–2015 President
